POINT OF VIEW, by                    
First Line: No heart for work
Last Line: After all.

No heart for work,
No taste for fun,
No time for kindness,
Love is done.

All life is grey,
My heart is cold.
No joy in sinning
When hearts are old.

But what is that?
A sunset hue;
A baby's laugh;
Is love all through?

A candle's flame,
A wild bird's call.
Life is worth living
After all.
