THE ONLY ONE, by                    
First Line: He is truly the only one
Last Line: And there was his blessing given.

He is truly the only One
For every crying need;
Whatever it is you yearn to own,
For whatever cause you bleed.

I've tried Him, after I tried again
And yet again man's aid,
Which fruitless left me emptier
And a double burden laid.

So coming at last to the only Source
Of power in earth or heaven,
I cried out my heart so close to His own
And there was His blessing given.
