The inarticulate immensity Of stellar space beyond terrestrial ken Where in our mundane-sired propensity To boasted wisdom fails of How? and When? The macrocosmic mystery that draws The devotee of lens and spectroscope To scan the ether for the Primal Cause, Forever failing, never losing hope. What say you? -- man of Learning and Degrees, Loud-mouthing No Now words with pompous mien -- Can you expound profundities like these? Or render visible the great Unseen? Savant, restrain the verbal flow until God grants you wit to murmur: Knowledge -- nil. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...TREE SPEAKS TO TREE by F. G.
