A SONG IN SEASON, by
First Line: The madcap spring came yesterday
Last Line: Grief, reappears.
Subject(s): Seasons

The madcap Spring came yesterday,
And Winter died;
Happy at last, he passed away,
She at his side.

Now night and day the wayward child
Is drowned in tears
Till Summer, wakened by her wild
Grief, reappears.
