First Line: O rain, why come on sunday
Last Line: Sometimes I make mistakes.
Subject(s): Rain; Sabbath; Water; Sunday

O rain, why come on Sunday
When I want to wear my best?
I would not care if you
Come on Monday or Tuesday,

That would suit me better.
I wear my best on Sunday,
Other days I do not mind
For they are only school days.

In school I learn reading,
Writing and arithmetic;
Spelling I dislike.
To school I must go to learn.

My teacher is pretty nice,
But she wants my work
Just perfect each day,
Sometimes I make mistakes.
