WHEN I ASSUME THAT GOD MAY BE, by
Last Line: For I see god in jesus' face.
Subject(s): Faith; God; Presence; Belief; Creed

When I assume that God may be --
Trusting where I cannot see,
His love then helps my soul to sing
A song of praise to Christ, my King.

When I assume that God may be --
My heart makes room, O God, for Thee,
For faith so fills this cup of mine,
It changeth water into wine.

When I assume that God may be --
Then lo, as Friend, my God finds me!
O loving God, my Father dear,
My dearest friend in heaven and here!

And I assume that God may be --
Because that truth in Christ I see,
Assumption now to faith gives place,
For I see God in Jesus' face.
