First Line: A maiden glides in still of night
Last Line: She left her lovely gown of snow.
Subject(s): Mirages

A maiden glides in still of night
Transfigured in a gown of white.
Her gown is blowing in the breeze
It catches on the brush and trees.
The frills and ruffles brush the ground.
They whirl, and swing, and dance around.

As morning comes she scurries on --
Her dance is through at birth of dawn;
And as she quickly fades away,
A sight of beauty greets the day,
For when she found that she must go,
She left her lovely gown of snow.
